Pleasant Beginnings Inc. is a non-profit organization rooted in the heart of Baltimore, MD
dedicated to uplifting and empowering underserved communities through education, awareness,
and resource connection. We specialize in creating and implementing programs aimed at guiding
and supporting the youth, with a strong emphasis on violence reduction. Our aim is to do this
through entrepreneurship and community engagement.
Our after school and community programs are meticulously designed to provide a safe,
nurturing, and educational environment. Where young minds can thrive, learn, and develop
essential life skills. We believe in the power of community and the potential of every individual,
and we're committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.
Goals and desires: To provide a safe and supportive environment for our children, ensuring they have access to quality education and opportunities for personal growth.
Pain Points: Limited time and resources, feeling overwhelmed, and concerned about her children's exposure to violence and negative influences.
Goals and desires: To reduce violence in the community and provide positive outlets and opportunities for youth.
Pain Points: Frustration with the lack of resources and programs available for the youth and the need for more community engagement
Goals and desires: To see our students succeed and have access to programs that help them develop the skills and the positive habits needed to be successful in life.
Pain points: Witnessing the potential in her students but feeling helpless due to a lack of resources and programs to support their growth.
